A precision obesity medicine test for primary care settings
Providers work hard to support patients with obesity, often within a limited amount of time. Determining which treatment will be most effective for each unique patient can be challenging.
The MyPhenomeRx Test helps solve this by detecting whether an individual possesses a particular obesity phenotype (subtype ) - Abnormal Satiation (Hungry BrainTM) or Abnormal Post-Prandial Satiety (Hungry GutTM). Clinical evidence has demonstrated a correlation between obesity phenotypes and response to two mechanistically distinct anti-obesity medications, phentermine-topiramate extended release (ER) and GLP-1s.1,2
The science behind MyPhenomeRx
The detection of an obesity phenotype is derived from analyzing a proprietary version of a polygenic risk score that uses a combined data set of genes and biometrics. The genetic component uses a broad set of genetic markers called Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs). The SNPs analyzed by MyPhenomeRx have key roles in the regulation of appetite through the Glucagon-like Peptide-1 receptor (GLP1R)-Melanocortin 4 Receptor (MC4R) pathway.
The test compares each patient’s biological patterns to our validated phenotype database, supporting a more confident understanding of a patient's biology in the provider's clinical evaluation of obesity.

MyPhenomeRx is a prescription only test. Healthcare Providers and Prescribers can order MyPhenomeRx by following the instructions below.
Step 01
Complete account initiation form
Once you complete the account initiation form, you will be redirected to schedule a 30-minute onboarding. Once onboarding has been booked, your account will be setup within 1 business day, and you will receive an email with instructions for logging in.
During the onboarding call, we will walk you through how to place a kit order, how to place lab orders, and how to access/review results within your MyPhenome portal. As well as how to best implement MyPhenomeRx into your practice.
Step 03
Provide MyPhenomeRx to patients
Results will be delivered in the MyPhenome portal. You will be informed via email when a new result is available. You can access your MyPhenome portal anytime here.
